Final project.

Architecture university.

Salamanca.

The surroundings of this place have a number of determining factors: Roman ruins in the Old Quarter, a water course on the North side and part of the original wall surrounding the city.

The challenge of this project was to combine the heritage of the city’s architecture with contemporary style, reinterpreting traditional constructions using vernacular materials.

The will of the school is to be a city of architecture, honouring the concept of both, the old walled cities and the surrounding wall.

Housing in a wineyard.

Madrid.

The challenge of this development was to combine architecture with the landscape.

Because the apartments were designed for single people, the common spaces and public areas were given more priority. Each floor is flexible enough to cope with the different needs of the inhabitants.

The materials and furniture are used in such a way that people experience them both as a game of indoor and outdoor sensations, with common areas using more urban sensations and the public square finished with elements usually found indoors.

Renovation & Branding.

Albacete, Spain.

This project was the re-opening of a vet clinic in Albacete, Spain.

The new owner, a young vet, wanted to keep former clients as well as attract new ones, by giving a fresh image to the clinic.

By adding a specialized shop in the reception area and a beauty salon, the range of products and services broadened.

The establishment needed an open and versatile image. So we took the project one step further, extending the use of traditional window displays into the whole inside space.

We used a wide colour palette, which was determined by the different services offered by the company.
